1. Please remove the 12 screws from the rotor/ mounting bell assembly.
  2. Please mount the disc/ mounting bell assembly onto the hub using the 12 screws provided.
  3. Please make ABCD shown in figure below have the same distance as each other by using calibrated scale. (The tolerance can not exceed 0.05m/m)
  4. Please tighten the 12 screws and torque them to 14-17 N-M.
  5. Verify if the tolerance of ABCD is within 0.05m/m.
  6. The vibration of the vehicle will occur while the car is moving if the tolerance exceeds 0.05m/m.

There are few certain original manufacturers who produce the lower control arm should be had different tolerance. In order not to touch the wheel which have difference design with our caliper, our engineer for the brake system production line who produce our brake system will more near with the original lower control arm. Due to this reason above, when you fit our brake kit, you may meet the condition of hit your lower control arm with our caliper.

There is a solution as below:
Please put the same thickness washers on the OE caliper mounting and OE disc mounting; please see the pic A and B. Please note each and every washer should have the same thickness and the numbers as well. Afterwards, please fit our caliper mounting and disc, the problem shall be settled.

Remarks:
You could use our washer which in the tool bag or you could find the same thickness washer by yourselves.

  1. The spec of the caliper of 8 pot brake system for front is same as that of AP 6 pot brake system for front.

  2. But its width is smaller than width of AP 4 pot caliper, the edge of caliper as far as it does not touch the rim. (Figure 1)

  3. The volume of master cylinder of 8 pot brake system kit is same as that of AP 6 pot brake system; therefore, you don’t have to worry about the distance of brake pedal being too far.

  4. AP: CP3215D50 and FERODO: FRP216 can be fitted onto our kit.

  5. The reason why the number of piston on the our caliper is altered from 6 pot to 8 pot is that brake pads enable to sustain more pressure points so the rotors can bear the force evenly.

  6. Our front 8 pot brake system kit for front can fit the wheel which is 17” or above, you don’t have to be concerned for the problem with fitting. If our front 8 pot brake system kit could not fit, than AP 4 would not suit for sure.

  7. One of features of our front 8 pot brake system kit is that the number of piston on the caliper is more than other brands. In addition, our brake rotor is designed particularly based on racing spec; its thickness is 32mm. So these features are selling points. (Figure 1)

  1. The spec of our 6 pot caliper for rear is same as that of AP 4 pot caliper for rear.

  2. But its width is smaller than width of AP 4 pot caliper, the edge of our caliper does not touch the rim as far as possible. (Figure 2)

  3. The volume of master cylinder of our rear 6 pot brake system kit is same as that of factory single pot brake system kit; therefore, you don’t have to worry about the distance of brake pedal being too far.

  4. AP CP3894D51 or FERODO FRP 3054 brake pads can be fitted onto our 6 piston brake system kit for rear.

  5. The reason why the number of piston on our caliper is altered from 4 pot to 6 pot is that brake pads enable to sustain more pressure points so the rotors can bear the force evenly.

  6. Our rear 6 pot brake system kit for rear can fit the wheel which is 17” or above, you don’t have to be concerned for the problem with fitting. If our rear 6 pot brake system kit could not fit, than AP would not suit for sure.

  7. One of features of our rear 6 pot brake system kit is that the number of pistons on the caliper is more than other brands. In addition, our brake rotor is designed particularly based on racing spec; its thickness is 32mm. So these features are selling points.

  8. The design of many OE rear brake systems is external disc with internal drum handbrake so the problem with fitting 330mm rotors may occur; we herewith provide 3 solutions to this issue:

    * Fitting 356mm rotors instead.
    * Removing the handbrake from the vehicle, than fitting 330mm rotors.
    * The handbrake is ineffective by doing number 2, in order to enable it to work again, you could consider installing our hydraulic handbrake onto the vehicle.
